Traditional Scottish restaurant located in the vicinity of the Royal Mile. The Wee Windaes is a family-run establishment which serves Scottish food at very reasonable prices. We enjoy a premium location a few steps away from the Tron Kirk in Edinburgh's Old Town. Menus are understandably influenced by tourist expectations of traditional Scottish dishes: starters include wild deer and fois gras terrine, or a generous Highland smoked platter featuring duck, venison and trout, followed by main courses such as salmon fillet with Glayva and dill sauce.
