Opened in May 2001 by Greg Molen, The Bluebell has never looked back. Encapsulated within a 400 year old building the two separate dining areas offer contrasting atmospheres, but the good quality of the food and service remains the same throughout.
Starters are as generous as varied and could include twice baked goat's cheese soufflé with poached pear, braised celery and red onion, and vintage port chutney, or warm brisket of salt beef with potato latka, wild rocket and cucumber, gherkin and red onion relish. Deep fried Cromer crab cake with a jalapeno and white onion salsa and sweet chilli sauce offers a new take on this East Anglian delicacy.
