Located in a rural setting, complete with beamed cottage the food here is renowned. Truly delicious is the smoked salmon starter with salmon and scallops wrapped in smoked salmon served with a fish-scented mustard dressing. The noisettes of venison topped with a herb and butter sauce and drizzled with a gamed reduction are well-timed with just that hint of resistance at the right moment. Blue Strawberry is renowned for its choice of fish dishes and the menu changes regularly, well influenced by seasonal and circumstantial availability. Good choice of wines.
