A rather welcome change from the vastness of some of the larger seaside hotels, the 24 seats of Mulberry House represent Torquay's foothold in the neighbourhood restaurant sector. Very homely with prices that are an encouragement to leave hearth and home they offer mainly traditional dishes, over which a great deal of loving care has been invested. A thoroughly creditable place. House wine at £10.
