Hi I'm Shaan, the Head Chef of the Rajput Restaurant and would like to say a little about ourselves. In 1992 my mother Mrs Perveen Khan founded the Rajput Restaurant on the principles and traditions of real home-style Indian cooking. The ethos of cooking like you would at home has made the Rajput a local phenomenon. We are regarded through out Yorkshire and across the UK as one of the best places to eat Indian food in the country.
The Rajput is a family business run by Perveen Khan and her three sons, Reza, Shaan and Omar. The kitchen is run by Perveen and Shaan. Adding a modern twist, Shaan has taken what he has learnt from Perveen and fused some of his own culinary ideas and styles with the traditional styles of cooking.
