Concept: O'CONNELLS is an independant restaurant offering the very best of Irish ingredients at Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner, 363 days a year. We bake our own Breads & Pastries and only use the finest of Irish meats and fish, which are supplied daily. We pride ourselves in competent cooking with added flavours from the French spit-roast.

A carefully chosen wine list of value-for-money fine wines with particular care having gone into its selection of wine by the glass, magnums and half-bottles. Capacity: O'CONNELLS restaurant has a seating capacity of 172 with an additional summer courtyard of up to 60 seats. The restaurant has a good variety of table arrangements from seven cosy half-moon banquettes for four persons to ten tables along the window and a semi private area for larger parties.

THE BRIDGESTONE GUIDES 2006 www.bridgestoneguides.com " Tom OConnells brilliant Restaurant manages to give customers what they want, just the way they want it" "People want value, service, and food that is properly sourced and cooked with flair. OConnells delivers." "The menu is pre-dominantly gluten free, with many dishes for Coeliacs. Value for money is the best in the city, and OCs rocks!" GEORGINA CAMPBELLS IRELAND "BEST OF THE BEST" 2006 www.ireland-guide.com "This remarkable restaurant strives to provide quality ingredient driven Irish cooking - simple food with natural flavours" " Menus are a hymn to natural ingredients, stating that pork, beef, eggs and catering supplies are sourced using Board Bias Quality Assurance Schemes, and also naming a number of artisan producers & suppliers" "This remains a unique restaurant, offering meals based on the very highest quality ingredients at quite reasonable prices" THE DUBLINER 100 BEST RESTAURANTS 2006 www.thedubliner.ie " Tom O'Connell, who is Darina Allens brother, does traditional fare with a twist: one might start with the summer garden salad (gubbeen bacon, ruby beetroot, with a casel blue cheese dressing), and follow it with roast loin of organic pork with red cabbage and apple and whole-grain mustard sauce. Desserts are very much a plus, and the kitchen is coeliac - friendly which is unusual." "Its kid - friendly and it does offer relatively good value" FODOR'S GUIDE Rating - Fodor's choice www.fodors.com When it comes to cooking, predigree counts. Owner Tom O'Connell is a brother to Irelands favorite chef, Darina Allen. Tom follows the family blueprint by showcasing locally produced meats and game that can be traced back to its source (in many cases, an individual farm). Add to this a focus on fresh Irish produce and baked goods, and you have the makings of a feast that is deliriously, quintessentially Irish. Serving as a cool backdrop, O'CONNELLS vast modern space is beautifully fitted out with sleek timber paneling and floor-to-ceiling windows
