Set in beautiful countryside, stylish and sophisticated Mango Tree has become synonymous with supreme Indian cuisine amongst discerning diners and since its opening in November 2003 has received a number of prestigious awards underlining its excellent reputation.

All meals are freshly prepared by the highly skilled and passionate team of chefs who blend exotic aromatic spices with delicate herbs to create a taste sensation. Start off with a Dahi Puri – Pastries filled with chick-peas and spicy potato splashed with yoghurt and fresh chutneys – or a South Indian rice pancake pan fried with carrots, peppers and fresh coriander, then served with lentils and coconut chutney.

The innovative and imaginative creations of Mango Tree are also applied to main course dishes which are based on new ideas as well as long-standing favourites. These include a luxurious Malabar Lobster Curry from the coastal town of Kerela, and a Duck Tikka, which uses succulent breast of Duck to enhance an old favourite. A wonderful difference between Mango Tree and most other Indian restaurants is that all meals are served with appropriate accompaniments.

Diners can opt for a traditional Indian dessert such as Gulaab Jamun (dumplings soaked in sugar syrup) with Vanilla Ice Cream or a light, but tasty Fresh mango with Ice Cream, or just relax and enjoy the rest of the evening with a selection of delights from the fully licensed bar which serves the usual beers, wines and champagnes, but also has a wonderful selection of cocktails, fruit juices, and yoghurt based drinks (lassis).

You can dine either in the main restaurant area with its sophisticated décor including genuine Indian artefacts and modern lighting effects or in the conservatory, overlooking landscaped gardens and panoramic views beyond.
