La Bagatelle Restaurant has been established for almost 20 years in
Edinburgh. The restaurant is Auguste Escoffier inspired brought up
to date for today's palate. All the dishes are prepared from fresh
ingredients, sourced locally and from France, don't expect fast
food. The chef proprietor Christophe Pelletier trained at the Lycee
Simone Weil in Dijon going on to work at the Swedish royal palace,
for the Rothschilds, Paris and then to Scotland at the North British
Hotel now the Balmoral. While in Edinburgh Christophe was the
Head chef at the Creperie Francaise and l'Etoile and for Pepe
Hernance at the Queensway.
The restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere while still having traditional
style service and napery. The restaurant can seat up to 45 people or you
can have one room for 20 or the other for 25.We would be delighted to
discuss menus and budget for any special event, or perhaps we could do
it for you at home or any other venue.
