The Indian Ocean Experience has always extended far beyond a simple meal - and now it launches an authentic food revolution - offering a completely new menu of traditionally prepared Indian, Kashmiri and Punjabi cuisine never previously attempted in the Tameside area and probably unique in the whole of the UK.
Indian Ocean founder Nahim Aslam travelled the length and breadth of the Indian sub-continent to locate the most talented chefs he could find for the launch of this determinedly authentic new menu that introduces the genuine tastes of Indian, Kashmiri and Punjabi cuisine to local area diners for the first time.
The restaurant’s kitchens now boast a team of twelve first class specialists, with all the experience and skills to produce the traditional flavours of regional home country cooking here in Tameside.
Everyone at the Indian Ocean is determined to offer nothing less than the genuine article - simply the best authentic food possible, with a completely new menu that reflects the true culture and tradition of South Asian cuisine.
Indian Ocean Executive Chef, Sheikh Kamran, who served at Lahore’s most prestigious restaurants before moving to Tameside, says: "South Asian food has been served in England for around fifty years now, but it’s been given a western twist. This is something different. We're providing our customers with exactly the same choices that would be presented at their table if they travelled thousands of miles to order their food".
