THE DRUID INN Derbyshire tradition – contemporary style

ew for 2005… a long-time favourite country local with that special Thyme touch. As you’d expect, that means superb food, wines and beers – but there’s more to the Druid Inn than just that.

You can now choose from four different dining areas under one roof. That means you can be as relaxed as you like, or enjoy a more formal experience if preferred.

The Bar and Snug. All the atmosphere of a traditional village pub. Enjoy a pint – why not sample our own Druids ale – or a leisurely bar lunch.

The Lower Restaurant, with its open kitchen and contemporary feel, seats up to 32 in comfort, making it the ideal spot for your private party.

The Upper Restaurant has a slightly more intimate feel. But its notable feature is a new Wine Cave, where diners searching for an ideal vintage can browse the racks at leisure.

The outside Terrace completes the picture. On a bright spring or summer day, there’s nowhere better to be.

Common to all four is our own varied and ever-changing menu. Make your selection from light bites such as classic or hot sandwiches, right through to dishes with the Thyme hallmark stamped on them – pastrami of Scottish salmon, Chateaubriand for two, Druid Inn fish and chips or local beef, Guinness and mushroom pie with Colcannon potatoes. There’s much, more more, so come and take a little Thyme in the country soon.
