The restaurant serves fresh seafood at its best, as well as contemporary classics to suit every taste.

Additional Comments:

The menu features seafood specialities and the operation is slick and efficient. Can the restaurant maintain its position now that Gordon Yuill has gone? Time will tell!

A few unpleasant suprises - waiter using his hands to give out bread, size of portions - miniscule. Size of extras such as chips, roasted veg - miniscule. Coffee good. Sweets good. Not good value for money - pre-theatre price soon hiked up by having to buy extras to make it up to a proper main course. Main course - snapper - as well as being tiny was overcooked and rubbery. Starter of hot mackerel and some cold potato did not work.

I cannot fault this place. The food was delicious and excellent value for the money. The service was excellent without being in your face all the time. The surroundings were perfect for a relaxed evening with friends. Moet at £24.99 a bottle isn't much more than you'd pay in a supermarket and the other less fancy drinks were reasonable. Our friends from the East will definitely be back (and so will we).

An enjoyable evening was had by all and there was a great range to choose from on the menu (catered for all tastes). The food was excellent. The service could be improved - we had a feeling that the people may have been new to the role as we had to ask for the bread (served up an empty basket?), water, more wine etc... expected it to be more seamless with Gordon Yuill's reputation for quality of service. We plan to revisit!

We loved this restaurant so much that we went twice this week (the menu change is really great!). This is definitely a restaurant I would recommend to take people to impress and to have a great night. It is not just for fish lovers - all tastes are catered for. I quite like the quirky touch on the price list all prices end .22p - there are quite a number of small touches that make this restaurant standout and worth a visit.

Fantastic food at reasonable prices, let down by terrible service - mains ready before starter finished, mains cleared while I was still eating, then a 25 min wait for the bill, and no apology when we complained! Won't be going back.

A dramatic change from our first visit(not memorable!). The service was excellent without being too stuffy, the quality of food was perfect and very reasonable portions at even more reasonable prices. What a difference to a once overly pretentious restaurant. HIGHLY reccommended.

Very elegant restaurant, service is excellent with very friendly staff. The food is generally very good although I would avoid the lobster dish as it is a bit too pricey.
